Candidate services

Email candidates@celptest.org for anything to do with sitting the test, your result, or a problem during an examination.

Always include your attempt reference — the CELP-XXXX-XXXX code shown when you submitted — and the email address you registered with. Without them we cannot find your attempt, and for your protection we will not discuss a result with anyone who cannot quote them.

Something went wrong during my test

Write immediately, the same day if you can, quoting your attempt reference and describing what happened and roughly when. Where a technical fault is confirmed, an attempt can be voided and you can sit the examination again at no charge.

Do not start a second attempt first — one attempt is permitted per email address, and a second one may be refused before we have looked at the first.

Institutions and recognition

Organisations verifying a certificate should use the verification service on the home page. For recognition, data requests or anything the verification service cannot answer, write to support@celptest.org marked for the attention of Recognition.

Media enquiries go to press@celptest.org, not to candidate services. See the press page for what we can and cannot confirm.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how you have been treated rather than with a band, the complaints and appeals procedure sets out the stages and the timescales.

A postal address and telephone number should be added here before publication. The numbers currently shown in the site footer are placeholders.
